The funny things kids say..

There is a neat application on facebook that allows you to look at all of your status updates and create a collage. I was thinking about doing this with things Brady and Keira have said, but then I decided to simply post those things here for your pleasure. Here are some of the funnier bits of 2009.

-Keira: If you take a new piece of paper, you're wasting the paper from the earth. You don't want to waste the paper do you? Brady: Oh, NO! Keira: Then, you have to color with me.

-(Keira, in time out) is screaming "I'm getting BORED! I want to do something!"

-After I sang in the car-Brady: Again Mommy! Me: Yeah, I rocked the casbah, right? Brady: Rock the casbah again mommy!

-Keira: Here Mommy, you can have my hot dog, I don't want it. Me: Thanks Keira (take a bite out of the the seemingly untouched hotdog) Keira: I already licked all the ketchup off.

-Me: Keira, please pick up this mess in your room. Keira: That's why God gives us mommies and daddies, so we don't make big messes.

-Brady: Mommy, are we blast-offing right now?

-Keira: When the music stops, you stop! (She's dancing around the room) Me: Umm, Do you hear music?

-Aubrey: What is sex a ho? Me: Umm... where did you hear that? Aubrey: on this paper, it says you get lunch from sex a ho. Me: OH! Sodexho!!

-Keira: Mommy- my friends and I want to make a hölle, we need a table. Me: Keira, you are not allowed to make a hell, and may not use the table.

-Brady: Mommy, you know what? Me: No buddy. Brady: Daddy, do you know what? Chris: No, I don't. Brady: Well, SOMEONE has to know! Chris: Do you know? Brady: Yeah, I know.

-I said 'Keira, I am going to tell you a secret, life isn't fair and the sonner you accept it, the better' She replied- That's not a secret mommy, you didn't whisper it.

-Keira brings the hard questions in the morning. Yesterday was "In the real world, how do wishes come true?" and this morning was "Does everyone have a fairy godmother?"

-The kid's impression of dinner... "You did a great job Mommy!" and "You're awesome at cooking!"

-Keira:"I rang the doorbell... and people are there, but " Chris: "Noone came to the door and said "Hi Keira!"? Keira: "No, Daddy, they don't speak English."

-Keira is developing a funny sense of humor. "Mommy, you know what I wish from Santa?" "No, what?" "A banana" hmm... "Really Keira?" "NO! I tricked you! I want a Baby born!"

-Keira's version of math: "Brady has three toys, I have three toys... 3 plus 3 equals... no fighting for toys."

They really do light up my life, and I am thankful for them!
